Which ERP suits a small manufacturer in India: Tally, Odoo or custom?

Keep Tally for accounts if your accountant likes it. For quotations, production and stock, Odoo fits a standard process well; a custom ERP fits when your pricing or process is special, like formula-based quotes. We'll tell you which after seeing your sheets.

Is there a free ERP that works?

Odoo Community and ERPNext are free to use, but setup, data migration and training still take work. Most small shops pay for that setup, not the licence.

Can it do quotations, BOMs, stock and GST bills?

How long does it take to go live?

It depends on how many processes move at once. We usually start with the one that hurts most, often quotations, and add the rest after. The date is fixed in your quote.
