Window and door fabrication software: quotes, cutting lists and invoices in one place
Type the window, get the price from your own rates, send the PDF quote on WhatsApp, and print the cutting list when the job is confirmed. Built around your price list, not one supplier's catalogue.
What the system does
- Quotes from your formulasProfiles, glass and accessories priced your way
- Cutting listsCuts worked out from the confirmed order
- PDF quote on WhatsAppSent to the customer from the system
Most aluminium and uPVC fabricators price jobs in an Excel sheet that one person understands. Profiles are priced by the metre, glass by the square metre, and accessories by the piece, with a margin on top. Then someone retypes it all into a quotation, and later works out the cuts by hand.
We built a quotation ERP for a uPVC window fabricator in India. Staff type each quote as formulas, the ERP prices it from the shop's own Excel rates, prints the quotation, sends it on WhatsApp as a PDF, and makes the cutting lists and the invoice. It is live and in daily use.
That system was built in India. A UAE fabricator's price list is different (aluminium sections, glass types, accessories, AED rates and VAT), but the approach is the same: your formulas, your rates, your quotation layout. We work remotely from India, which is 90 minutes ahead of the UAE.
Why fabricators outgrow the Excel sheet
What the system covers
Supplier software or a custom system
| Profile supplier's software | Custom system built for you | |
|---|---|---|
| Built around | That supplier's profile systems and catalogue | Your own price list and formulas |
| Mixing suppliers | Depends on the tool | Any profiles, glass and accessories you buy |
| Quotation layout | The tool's format | Your letterhead, terms and VAT layout |
| WhatsApp and invoices | Usually separate | In the same system |
| Best when | You fabricate mostly one supplier's systems | You price your own way or use several suppliers |
Tools like LogiKal or a profile supplier's own calculator are good at the systems they are built for. If one of them fits your shop, use it. Brand names belong to their owners. Krira Digital is not affiliated with any of them.
What we have really built
We built a quotation ERP for a uPVC window fabricator in India. Staff type each quote as formulas, the ERP prices it from the shop's own Excel rates, prints the quotation, sends it on WhatsApp as a PDF, and makes the cutting lists and the invoice. It is live and in daily use.
We also replaced a school's Excel workbook with a web app used daily on phones, and built the product catalogue for PTP CNC Toolings, a tooling maker in India, where every product page has a one-tap WhatsApp enquiry.
We have no UAE fabricator client yet. Your system would be built from your own price list and tested against quotes you have already sent.

Questions
Can the software price windows from our own formulas?
Yes. That is how the system we built in India works: staff type the window, and it prices it from the shop's own Excel rates. We rebuild your formulas per profile system and check every result against your sheet.
Does it produce cutting lists and reduce waste?
It produces the cutting list for each confirmed job, so nobody works out cuts by hand. Fitting cuts into standard bar lengths to cut down off-cuts can be added as part of the build.
Can it handle glass in square metres and profiles in linear metres?
Yes. Each item is worked out from width and height in its own unit: profiles by length, glass by area, accessories per piece. Your rate for each comes from your price list.
Can a quotation become a job and then an invoice?
Yes. The confirmed quote becomes the job, and the job becomes the invoice, without retyping. For B2B invoices, see our page on UAE e-invoicing.
Can we send the quotation to the customer on WhatsApp?
Yes. The system makes the PDF and sends it to the customer's WhatsApp. See WhatsApp automation.
How is this different from LogiKal or a supplier's calculator?
Supplier tools are built around particular profile systems and catalogues, and are good at them. A custom system is built around your own price list, so it suits shops that mix suppliers or price their own way, and it adds your quotation layout, WhatsApp and invoices.
Can site measurements be entered on a phone?
Yes. We build a simple phone screen for openings and notes on site, so the office quotes from the same numbers.
How much does aluminium fabrication software cost, and how long does it take?
It depends on how many profile systems and formulas you have, and whether you want cutting lists and invoices from day one. We quote a fixed price after a short call, and the date is fixed in the quote.
