InfoPath is retired. Rebuild your forms, approvals and old data in one web app.

We rebuild each InfoPath form as a web form with the same fields and rules, carry over the XML data already submitted, and keep Microsoft sign-in. No Power Apps licences needed.

What carries over from InfoPath

  • Same fields and rulesValidation, repeating tables and views, checked form by form
  • Old submissionsXML data imported, searchable and exportable
  • Microsoft sign-inStaff sign in with their work account (Entra ID)
Outlook macros stopping too?

InfoPath ran a lot of quiet paperwork: leave requests, purchase requests, incident reports, inspection checklists. Microsoft removed InfoPath Forms Services from SharePoint Online for all tenants after July 14, 2026, and support for the InfoPath 2013 app ended the same month. On SharePoint Server 2016, 2019 and Subscription Edition, support for InfoPath Forms Services also ended after July 14, 2026.

Microsoft points people to Power Apps, Power Automate and Microsoft Forms. Those suit many teams. If you'd rather not add per-user Power Apps licences, or your forms have rules those tools handle badly, there is another route. Krira Digital, a small software studio in India, rebuilds the forms as a web app you own. We work with US companies remotely.

Where teams are stuck right now

Forms won't submitWithout InfoPath Forms Services, people can't submit new responses through the browser.
Years of XML filesOld submissions sit in form libraries as XML, and only the retired InfoPath app opens them nicely.
Rules nobody wrote downValidation, hidden sections and approval steps live inside the .xsn file, not in any document.

Forms we have already replaced

A school in India ran admissions, fees, receipts, attendance and report cards from one Excel workbook. We rebuilt it as one app with a form for each job, printed receipts and report cards, and a full backup that still downloads as one Excel file.

A uPVC window fabricator in India uses an app we built for quotations. Staff fill in forms with the shop's own formulas, and each quote goes out as a PDF. Neither started in InfoPath, but the work is the same: forms, rules, approvals, printouts and old data moved in. We build Microsoft sign-in and SharePoint links on Microsoft Graph as part of the job.

How we replace your InfoPath forms

  1. 1InventorySend the .xsn files, or let your admin run Microsoft's assessment tool. We list every field, rule, data connection and approval step.
  2. 2Rebuild and compareEach form is rebuilt and filled in side by side with the old one. Your team checks the rules and the PDF.
  3. 3Move the data and switchOld XML submissions are imported and counted. Staff sign in with Microsoft accounts, and the old library becomes read-only.

A fixed quote after we see your forms

The price depends on how many forms you have, their rules and data connections, and how much old data moves over. Send the .xsn files or screenshots, and we reply with a fixed quote and a delivery date in writing. Payment in stages.

Questions

Is InfoPath still supported?

No. Microsoft removed InfoPath Forms Services from SharePoint Online for all tenants after July 14, 2026, with no option to extend. Extended support for the InfoPath 2013 app ended the same month. On SharePoint Server 2016, 2019 and Subscription Edition, support for InfoPath Forms Services ended after July 14, 2026 too.

Why are my InfoPath forms not working in SharePoint Online?

Because the service behind them has been removed. Microsoft said that after removal, people can no longer submit new responses through InfoPath in SharePoint Online. Some admins report forms that still open in their tenant, but Microsoft offers no extension, so don't rely on it.

What is the best replacement for InfoPath?

It depends on your forms. Microsoft Forms suits surveys. SharePoint list forms suit simple lists. Power Apps suits teams already on the Power Platform. A custom web app suits forms with complex rules, approvals and years of old data, when you'd rather not pay per user.

How much does Power Apps cost per user?

Microsoft lists Power Apps Premium at $20 per user per month, paid yearly. Microsoft 365 includes limited Power Apps use with standard connectors. Apps that need premium connectors or Dataverse need a premium licence for each user.

Is there a tool to convert InfoPath forms to Power Apps?

Microsoft doesn't provide one. It points admins to the Microsoft 365 Assessment tool to find where InfoPath is used. Some third-party vendors sell converters; test them on your hardest form and check how they handle rules, code and old data.

What happens to the data in my old InfoPath forms?

The submitted XML files stay in your SharePoint form libraries. Microsoft says people can download them and open them in the InfoPath 2013 app, which is no longer supported. We import them into the new app, so old records can be searched, printed and exported to Excel.

Can I keep using SharePoint lists to store my form data?

Yes. The new forms can write to your existing SharePoint list through Microsoft Graph, so views and reports built on the list keep working. Or we move the data into the app's own database and keep an export to Excel.

How long does it take to replace InfoPath forms?

It depends on the number of forms, their rules and data connections, and how much old data moves over. We list every form first, then put a fixed delivery date in the written quote.
